Linear elastic 2D frame analysis for the current planar model. Results are preliminary and not independently validated for design use.
Run linear analysis to calculate displacements, support reactions and member end forces.
Quick guide: select and edit a frame member
- Choose 3D View, Elevation, or Plan.
- Click directly on a blue frame member. The selection turns amber and its ID appears in the Model Explorer.
- If a member is hard to click, click near its centreline; the selection hit-area is wider than the visible line. Keyboard users can focus a member and press Enter or Space.
- Open Sections to assign a section, or Loads to assign a stored load to the selected member.
- Run Model checks and choose Print / PDF report. In the print dialog, select Save as PDF.
File-format note: The target version is a label for the intended exchange workflow. This plugin does not currently decode or write proprietary binary .EDB files, and its .E2K exchange export is not a validated round-trip converter. Do not treat file extensions or version labels as proof of compatibility. Import/export support must be validated against source applications and representative files.
